Lynx Men’s Basketball Fall on the Road

 The Men’s Basketball team lost at Rend Lake College on Saturday afternoon 83-65.  Rend Lake started the game on a 11 point run and never looked back.  “I was disappointed that my guys didn’t show up to play.  It’s like we never got off the bus,” Coach Lepper said.  Trayvon Tyler from Rockford had 16 points and Richard Simpkins from Bloomington had 12 points.   Lincoln College falls to 0-2 in region play and 7-3 on the season.  Lepper said, “I expect big things from my guys this season.  We will bounce back from this!”  The LYNX’s travel to undefeated Mineral Area this Wednesday to take on the #20 ranked Division 1 NJCAA program.  “This will be a tough test for us but, my guys will be ready to roll” said, Lepper.

The Lynx return home on Saturday, December 10 at 3 p.m. vs. #1 ranked Kirkwood.  Kirkwood won the NJCAA DII National Championship last season.
